I am an avid (some say rabid) amatuer photographer for many years now. I love to travel the world and explore thru the lens of my camera. However there are places I will probably never visit and pictures I will never have the opportunity to capture, I turn to the internet to satisfy for photographic hunger when I’m home between trips and shoots.
There are thousands of photograpic blogs and sites out there – and like anyone I have more than my share of favorites that send me daily tips and top photos.. In order to help you out, I’ve put together a list of some of my favourite photgraphy blogs that I read on a regular basis and those that I think you should consider and will enjoy reading in 2015. If you’re not following these blogs already, I guarantee that you’ll be subscribing and adding them straight into your bookmarks!
Some of these blogs are popular and quite well-known, where as others are new, up-and-coming blogs that have already caught my attention! I hope that you find some new faces on this list to inspire you journey in photography.

Stuck In Customs
Trey Ratcliff is considered the top travel photographer online. Also extremely well known and popular for this magnificent subtle HDR work. Be careful when visiting his site as you may lose track of time browsing his fantastic images.
Notes From the Road
Erik Gauger’s travel photography site. Vibrant, rich colors and awesome locations. Erik always has a great story to tell with each location he shoots.
Roads and Kingdoms
In my opinion the photography is matched if not exceeded at times by the stories. Photography’s answer to Andrew Bourdain. A great way to get an authentic view of life in locales all over the globe.
Richard Bernabe

Flak Photo
The site is dedicated to showcasing the very best photography from artists, curators, bookmakers and photo organizations around the world. Editor and founder Andy Adams is constantly raising the bar and bringing attention to the industry’s rising stars, best kept secrets and names we as image makers and lovers need to know.

The Photo Argus is a resource for photographers novice to advanced. They provide useful information, inspiration, technique, photographer showcases and more.
Cambridge in Colour
Cambridge in Colour is an online learning environment where photographers can come to improve their skills. After its founding in 2005, it has grown substantially both in content and in the number of visitors it attracts. On any given day, over 20,000 different people are learning about photography and contributing in the forums community
DIY Photography
DIY Photography (or DIYP for short) started in 2006 as a place for gear lusting photographers (hence the name), it has quickly evolved into a place of inspiration, education, gear chat and a place for photographers to hang out.

Outdoor Photographer is the premier magazine about outdoor photography. Their photography technique articles are geared to helping you capture the best wildlife, travel and outdoor sports photography.

500px has some of the best photos on the planet on their website. And, they have a really great blog that showcases some of the best work on their site, as well as features on photographers.
Scott Kelby
Founder of KelbyOne and edito/publisher of Photoshop User Magazine, Scott has been at the forefront of the photography scene for years. Always something new and/or free in his blog.
